Former Deputy Executive Director of Stop Ecocide International, Sara Qualter helped define ecocide as an international crime and bring it into multilateral negotiations. In October 2023, she founded Spaghetti Soup, an environmental strategy and green diplomacy consultancy. 

Today, she supports NGOs, international organizations, and companies in developing legal and policy frameworks aimed at recognizing nature as a subject of rights.
