Former Deputy Executive Director of Stop Ecocide International, Sara Qualter played a key role in defining ecocide as an international crime and in bringing it into multilateral negotiations. In October 2023, she founded Spaghetti Soup, a consultancy specializing in environmental strategy and green diplomacy.

Today, she supports NGOs, international organizations, and businesses in developing legal and policy frameworks that aim to recognize nature as a subject of rights.
