A close friend of Gert-Peter Bruch, founder of Planète Amazone, he has provided steadfast support to campaigns backing Chief Raoni — notably in opposition to the Belo Monte dam and in favor of the recognition of Indigenous land rights.
Through his public stances, the power of his lyrics, and the consistency of his commitment, he helps raise awareness of the ecological and human emergency unfolding in the Amazon. A loyal ally of Planète Amazone, he has also supported the Alliance of Guardians of Mother Nature since its inception.
