Éric Chevrière
A beekeeper, forester, and teacher in natural area management, Éric Chevrière is a long-time partner of Planète Amazone. For the past five years, he has worked to strengthen connections between the educational world, local stakeholders, and Indigenous people — particularly in the Chambéry region.
Specialized in the management of natural environments, he has regularly invited the association to his agricultural and forestry high school, as well as to other institutions in the region. In 2021, he mobilized the entire city to welcome Chief Ninawa, offering hundreds of young people a direct exchange with an Indigenous leader.
He maintains a special relationship between his high school and the Amazonia, the Heart of Mother Earth project, which he continues to actively support by developing a network of local partners and fostering sustainable bridges between territories and cultures.
